My original goal a month ago was two chapters...and then I ended up pulling out my back at work, and now it hurts to even get out of bed or get dressed, being sore as hell. Looks like that goal is a no-go for the time being.

But it looks like my regular releases monthly is still doable. 

I think for next time instead of saying I'll do something, I'll just do it; and not risk jinxing myself again...
...especially knowing my terrible luck.

Takarakuji Vol.7, Ch. 33 - God's Emanated Words

Sorry this was late. It was more or less done but life's been busy with the economy opening back up, so the finishing touches took a while.  That, plus I spent a lot of my available time researching how to rip from Futaba Monster for the Takarakuji-Marie spinoff manga, web version. Ultimately decided to just wait until the end of the month to buy the 1st volume raws when it comes out in Japan.

The spinoff manga spoils some stuff, so the first chapter will be released after the main story project crosses into that story arc which is the very end of this volume, and Ch. 1 will be ready when it does since I would have already gotten my hands on the raws by then. So that's something to look forward to in the future.

Sorry this was late. For those that missed my regular discord status updates:
My main monitor finally borked after ten plus years. It was virtually impossible get any work done without getting it replaced, so that took a while to ship after buying it online, especially during the whole pandemic and all, and then continue where I left off. All that mess really set me back, in more ways than one...So yeah, if anybody wants to contribute to my dead monitor fund with a donation, I’d very much appreciate it. F.

But on the upside, I finally got my old job back after being laid off, although only part-time with reduced hours and reduced pay, but having a job is better than no job at all, because 1/3 of my (now former) coworkers weren’t so lucky that got permanently laid off.
Now hopefully my workplace doesn’t get destroyed or go up in smoke...because, y’know.

Anyways, I’ve rambled on long enough.

Takarakuji Vol.6, Ch. 31 - Dream + Bonus

This chapter introduces 3 new characters, which I included some promo image references from the Light Novel.

This chapter was a little difficult to translate, mostly because a lot of content and context was cut out and missing (like page 20/140), so dialogue may sound a bit choppy here and there...

Too bad I don't have the time to do both the manga and light novel––which I still have raws for, in case anyone wants to pick up the Light Novel project, which they can DM me for (since the WN translation was stalled/dropped a couple of years ago on Novel Updates).

Life Update:
Sorry this was later than usual.
As you can imagine, I'm in the same boat as most of you around the world right now.
I won't bore you with the details (especially if you've been keeping up with me on my discord), but timeline went like this in the last 2 months:
Coronavirus Pandemic >Work Overtime >Lockdown >Laid Off Job>Self Isolation >Taxes+Rent Due...

Project Update:

Since I'm laid off, and in self isolation, you can expect more chapters than usual soon™.
Now working on next chapter...and I bought the next volume as well and in the middle of working on that too.

I also found out where I can buy physical copies of the manga 2nd-hand that comes with exclusive pre-order bonus material (postcards) for prior volumes that’s available nowhere else, that I want to bid on and import via proxy buyer so I can personally scan them myself and share with you all, but that can be pricey...So that plan is on hold while I save up for that+when the pandemic is over and I’m not afraid to answer the door anymore for delivery; this is for the truly dedicated fans of Takarakuji that want everything related to it.

My PC has been on the fritz again ever since Windows 7 was given the boot by Microsoft...so to speak. Because it now takes up to half an hour just to boot my PC up, and some programs like Photoshop are behaving strangely with errors. Good thing I got the bulk of the work done a while ago.
